Lose Weight with Asian Green Tea

Asian green tea and Weight Loss

By: Bill Nad

green tea1.jpgAsian green tea has been around for thousands of year. It is believed that Asian green tea was discovered by a Asian emperor by accident. It comes from the same plant, Camellia Sinensis, as traditional black tea and oolong tea.

For centuries, Asian medicine has used it to treat headaches, digestive problems, lack of energy, and immune enhancement. The Asian diet green tea is produced by steaming the fresh tea leaves at high temperatures, leaving a significant part of the nutritional enzyme content intact.

Different from the black and oolong tea, the green tea is never fermented. Instead, its leaves bypass the fermenting process and steamed, baked or pan heated. The leaves are rolled and those tightly rolled leaves have long been considered as a sign of quality.

A slow but consistent weight loss method is better than a rapid one. But most health experts agree that a fast result is a bad result. Quick weight loss is absolutely, positively, 100% guaranteed to result in residual weight gain. So, weight loss is not easy and not often successful.

By: Lee Dobbins

In today’s modern culture wherein Paris Hilton is the goddess and the abs of Usher are every man’s goal, more and more people are into dieting. Unfortunately, a lot still fall into the diet myth trap out of their desire and eagerness to fit into a size 2.

Do Fad Diets Work?

By: Chris Chenoweth

Sleep Habits and Weight Loss

Sleepless Nights May Be A Culprit for Making you Obese

By: Javier Fuller

weight-loss-sleep.JPGHaving sleepless nights? Well! It is a big reason to worry about.

Not because you have become less productive and feel sleepy the whole day in your office, but because it may not be the only disorder that you may be suffering from.

Benefits of a Mediterranean Diet

Mediterranean Diet benefits

By: Chris Chenoweth

The people who live in countries that border the Mediterranean Sea have a significantly decreased incidence of heart disease, chronic diseases, and cancer, and the highest adult life-expectancy rate. All of these health benefits even though the traditional Mediterranean diet contains 40% of total daily calories from fat. How is this possible?

Olive oil, a staple of a Mediterranean diet, is a monosaturated fatty acid and counteracts animal fats. This type of fat does not raise blood cholesterol levels and is an excellent source of antioxidants. Monounsaturated fats are, in fact, required for the body in order to function effectively.

Painful Truth about Weight Loss

By: Carl Brown

weight loss moment.jpgDo you want to know a secret about diets? Here it is. All diets work. And… no diets work over the long term.

If you’ve decided to lose weight, you have decided to make a change in your behavior, either in your diet, or exercise, or both. If you choose a diet, and restrict your caloric intake, and perhaps add a little exercise, you WILL lose weight.
